GETTING YOUR DOCUMENTS TO US
EMAILING DOCUMENTS
The fastest and easiest method of sending us documents is to email it as an attachment. Attach a copy of it to an email and email it directly to the Constable's office at [email protected]. FAX To FAX a document to be served please contact the office for instructions. EXTRA LARGE DOCUMENTS - SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS Documents with an exceptionally large amount of pages cannot be handled by our email server or fax machine. Please contact us for an alternative method of delivery. MAILING If you wish to send us your documents via USPS, please use the address on the Contact Us page. FED EX & UPS If you use one of these companies they will deliver your documents to our office lock box even if there is no one available to accept them. These documents must not include a request for signature. Because of mailing service requirements, a request for signature will delay our receipt of your documents. IMPORTANT: Sending your documents via express mailing services & asking us to serve “as soon as possible - ASAP”, is NOT considered a request for a Rush Service. A note must be attached to the documents or sent via email requesting this service. RUSH OR SPECIAL SERVICE: IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS. |
LEAVING DOCUMENTS AT THE DISTRICT COURT
The District Court has a shelf for our documents and will allow you to place them on that shelf, or ask them to put them there when the documents are ready for service. We will pick up there when we receive your email or call notifying us of their availability. If the document needs to be picked up for a Rush, same day service, contact us immediately. THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT- This court does not have a receptacle in which you can leave your documents for pick up. So please, either deliver them to our address and leave them in the lock-box by the front door, or email or send via a mailing service. |
